What is an atomizer?

The atomizer is the most important part of an e-cigarette, comprising the inner heating element and the e-liquid tank, with the heating element being a replaceable part.

Atomizers are broadly classified into three types: Replaceable coil atomizers, dripping atomizers, and custom-made atomizers. There's also a super-powerful type, which we won't discuss in detail here.

Replaceable Coil Atomizers: The main body of the atomizer is the e-liquid tank, and the heating element is called the coil. The atomizer only functions properly with the coil installed, and the coil is usually a pre-made, replaceable part. They generally have a more business-like appearance and are often quite portable.

Dripping Atomizers: These are atomizers with custom-made heating elements. Their main characteristic is a huge vapor production; you need to open the cap and add e-liquid after just a few puffs. They don't have an e-liquid tank. They're fine for casual use, but not for long-term use. They are compact in size and powerful in function.

Custom-made Atomizers: This type of atomizer is the most practical. While it's possible to make your own heating element and repair the coil for replaceable coil atomizers, it's quite difficult and it's hard to achieve satisfactory results. The advantages of this atomizer are its large vapor production, good flavor, and simple coil construction, which makes it popular among users and enthusiasts. However, the flavor will vary depending on each person's DIY skills and the materials they use.
