Material Selection And Structural Protection Of Mini Electronic Cigarettes

The core function of packaging is to protect the contents. Mini e-cigarette packaging faces a challenge in this regard: How to reduce size without sacrificing protective performance?

Material Application: Common materials include cardboard, corrugated paper, specialty paper, and a small amount of plastic inserts. Compared to packaging that uses a lot of plastic blister packs or heavy foam, modern mini packaging tends to use environmentally friendly paper materials and structural designs to achieve cushioning. For example, through precisely calculated cardboard folds and internal support structures, compact "protective cabins" are formed, securing the e-cigarette device and cartridges separately to prevent shaking and collisions during transportation and carrying. This design reduces the use of plastic but requires higher precision in its structural design.

Structural Comparison: Compared to simple one-piece molded cardboard boxes, mini e-cigarette packaging often has a more ingenious structure. Common top-and-bottom lid, drawer-style, and flip-top structures are miniaturized. For example, a drawer-style mini package has a thin but sturdy outer sleeve, and the inner box pulls out smoothly, making all accessories clearly visible and securely secured. This structure is easier for users to take out and put in multiple times than cardboard boxes that are simply glued together (although most e-cigarette packaging is not designed for long-term reuse), and it is also easier to open and recycle than completely sealed disposable plastic blister packs.
